Everyone please understand it doesn’t matter if it lasts a year or 2 looking somewhat ok , this is trapping moisture inside and will cause rocker too start rusting even worse down the road ,

Maybe if you bought a rusted out car up north, and took it down to New Mexico or Arizona, then this would be a reasonable thing to do. Because no more moisture is ever going to get in there down in the southwest. Other than that, I was contemplating this technique, but I’m not gonna do it. I’m up in Wisconsin

In the UK this area of the car is classed as structural. If discovered at an inspection it would fail with a repair like this

Had an old car found rust like this. Removed rust from what I thought was a 3 inch hole. The hole got bigger to about 15 inches LOL. found a bunch of foam like this. Couldn't save the frame rail had to get rid of the car. dealership work.

Guys this is the worst thing you could ever do, i mean you mind as well just let it go if this is the option bc if you do this it will just retain moisture even when it may not apear to be wet bc ig will be behind the surface, thats all what spray foam will do and once u introduce constant moisture to a rusty or once rusty or not even just a rusty area but regardless it will rust much faster than it already once was

Bondo is terrible, it heaves, cracks, etc. I use fiberglass filler, rivet in plastic poly wall (the plastic wall from showers) fiberglass over that. Holds indefinitely.💯👌

That's so cool! Curious what the parts cost was for this, and whether this car had JdeMO before or if this was done from stock? I have JdeMO on my 2014 but would love to swap out CHAdeMO for CCS, and I would think that the existing installation should make the CCS upgrade easier...

Foam will soak up water like a sponge even closed cell foam because you cut it and when it freezes and thaws it will rupture all of the cells eventually and be one big wet sponge and rot out very quickly half ass sell it quick job won't even last a year

Do not do it like this. Spend the money and get the Duralast fiberglass filler. It will last a lot longer and won’t come back. This will probably last until the next day.

You tell me the GPS extender fits in the case and neglect to say the BATTERY CONVERTER does not fit!Thanks for the "Heads Up" That the adapter doesnt fit in the case and will break in the worst possible spot, then you see that it was going to break anyway cause it was printed hollow! maybe 2% infill. You wouldnt print an ugly keychain like that and ** this part should be solid! ** . It holds the battery in the drone! You should at least tell your customers before they try and put their drone back in its case! Im going to try and tack it together with super glue then pour a bunch of epoxy resin around it and maybe that will work but idk, theres only 1 mm of plastic to hold a 2 lb battery in a drone going 45 mph! Sounds like alot of Typhoons will be falling from the sky
